I did these designs a while ago, the character designs are for a comic idea that I've been working on for a few years.
These are initial designs, which I plan to rework and add changes.

I've got the first issue worked it out in my head, I just have to be bothered to draw it.

Truth, Justice and the American Way

A one page comic about a superhero living a triple life with tragic consequences. Written by Ben Jennings and letters by Dave 'Bolt-01' Evans.

Work I did for jobs that didnt get me the job part 3

This first piece was for a small gaming company. Before the interview, they wanted to see what I can do their brief, so I spent some time creating these two, sent it to them but never got a reply.

These images were for a music video pitch. I worked with my friend, Joe Lea, to produce a really good treatment, but after a week things weren't looking to good. It was to be a noir type narrative with comic visuals, where the heroine goes on a crusade to reclaim her stolen records. Ending with a climatic battle in a room of mirrors, like Enter the Dragon, but more frenetic. However it was not to be :,(

Knock Knock

I did this comic last year, written by Ben Jennings and Christopher Godfree, and art by me.

I had a couple of weeks to draw, ink and colour it, though the layout was done, it was a push to get this finished.

I found this whilst browsing my hdd, did it a while ago. I was working as a waiter at the time and didnt feel like serving the customers, so hid and doodled instead.

This is a submiision piece i did for 2000AD but it got rejected. The script is called Cycle of violence, taken from the 2000AD website. I can see why I got shot down and learned a lot from it, I was thinking of re-doing it but thought it best to move on to the next project. When I was drawing this, I was going for the oldschool Dredd, where Mega-City One had a mixture of futuristic and old buildings.
